OK this is the last anniversary picture.
When I told Melody we had to have Tony the Tiger
part of the wedding she wasn't to pleased since It was to be a formal event lol.
But here he is the star attraction sitting atop of our towel cake mel made.
You see when we got married we got married in traffic court.
My sister in law Kathy stole me and Lewis stopped and got a cake and his (our) mom had
a Kellogg's corn flake box and Lewis cut him out and he was our cake Topper.
We didn't have a car because it had been stolen the week before we got married.

We never had a big traditional wedding. So on our 34Th anniversary
my sister Melody gave us our dream wedding.
Since we live in WA. and all our family and friends couldn't be there.
My dear sweet sister in law (yes the one who teaches me crochet)
Made us an anniversary quilt.
We had all our friends and family do a memory square and then we took the quilt.
with us to Mo. and hung it up.
This dress to me is like most women's wedding gowns lol.
I cried when I saw her in it.

Another One of my graduating students hard at work.
With the flip flops I made her. 

When I'm done making a set of flip flops
I put them in a freezer bag with the students
name on them. This way when it comes to
there graduation day. I have them ready.
This keeps them clean and from getting mixed
up with a wrong size. I then place them in a plastic
under the bed storage container.
Only 30 more to make lol.

More student flip flops finished. 

This shows the loomed placement
of the pannel to be attached.
I now lift up center by toe and tie yarn on.
Then I slip stitch or whip stitch the
pannel onto the flip flops with my needle and matching yarn.
Make sure your yarn strip is long enough..
This is soooooo much easier than attaching
it with the panel still on the loom, and
much easier than crocheting them closed.
Ive treid it all.
This is quick and not bulky and no missed
loops, which I was haveing with the other two
methods.
